Thorpe Hall School

This week in Maths, our Nursery children had a fantastic time exploring Purple Mash, an interactive maths app. They loved recognising different fruits and practising their touch counting skills through a fun, colourful activity. Lots of smiles and lots of learning!

Meanwhile, our Reception pupils have been learning different strategies to independently solve addition problems using lots of resources in their Maths lessons.

Thorpe Hall School

Florence in Year 4 proudly represented Thorpe Hall School at the ISA Sailing Regatta at Draycote Water and what an incredible performance she delivered! ⛵

Racing in the Rookie Fleet, she sailed brilliantly and secured an amazing 1st place out of 12 boats. Even more impressive that she was the youngest sailor by more than two years!

Well done Florence!

Congratulations Florence 💜👏🏻👏🏻

Introducing the specialist teaching team for our Reception pupils!

Even the littlest learners in our Prep school get an impressive range of specialist-taught sessions every week, from drama and dance to forest school and french.

Our small class sizes of less than 16 per class mean the teachers can get to know each and every pupil really well, and can bring out their best in every subject.

Alongside the consistent, nurturing care of their class teacher, the children love visiting specialist facilities throughout the school, including our amazing sports centre, music suites and studios.

Reception parents - what lessons does your child love, and why? We'd love to hear from you in the comments.

What an experience, what a team!
