As part of the school’s centenary celebrations, we spoke to Mr Capon about his long and vital history with Thorpe Hall School spanning over 50 years – as a student during war time, a parent, a chairman and a director. Mr Capon shares memories of the tragic event that resulted in him joining Thorpe Hall, his school boy days in the 40s, and his industrious efforts in the 70s which saved the school from closure.
