Our Year 2 pupils enjoyed a fantastic Great Fire of London trip last week. They were met by their Blue Badge guide, who brought history to life as they explored the streets and landmarks connected to Samuel Pepys and the outbreak of the Great Fire. Through engaging stories and activities, the children discovered what life was like in London in 1666. 🔥📜
After lunch at beautiful All Hallows’ Church, where Pepys famously watched the fire spreading from the tower, the children became history detectives! Congratulations to Rafe in Year 10, who has achieved a Merit in his Grade 6 Guitar exam. A fantastic accomplishment and a true reflection of the dedication and hard work he has put into his music. 🎸
