During the summer holidays, Lily in Year 5 and her little sister Ellie handmade a beautiful collection of jewellery, keyrings and good luck charms to sell in their pop up shop. They were thrilled to sell their entire collection, raising an amazing £87! 🎉
The girls decided to donate half to Gold Geese Charity, a charity supporting families with children who have cancer, and used the other half to buy materials for their next collection.

We were delighted to welcome back recent alumni and former Head Boy Daniel to Thorpe Hall School this week. 👏
After completing his GCSEs at Thorpe Hall School, Daniel went on to Westcliff High School for Boys for Sixth Form, where he achieved the top grade in all four of his A levels. He is now embarking on an exciting new chapter, studying Medicine at Imperial College London! 🩺🎓
Daniel spoke to our current Year 11 students about his educational journey, sharing some fantastic advice and reminding them that setbacks can be opportunities to succeed in a different way.
He also encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, try new clubs and activities, and make the most of every opportunity to build their experiences and become the best, most well-rounded version of themselves. Our students also had the opportunity to ask Daniel questions at the end of his talk, making for a really valuable and inspiring session.
