As a fully inclusive, co-educational school, we are proud to celebrate our students’ excellent all-round achievements, and the enormous value we add to their learning, from Nursery to GCSE.
We challenge our pupils to outperform, whatever their ability. We seek out individual talents and actively encourage the best in everyone. At Thorpe Hall School, all students are motivated to enjoy a myriad of new and exciting opportunities and experiences. We pride ourselves on the individual attention we offer every child, whatever their age and whatever their needs.
Our mission is clear, our promise secure, and our commitment is genuine and unwavering. We are a school that listens, and every child’s voice is heard. Our open-door approach helps foster a refreshingly honest, active and forward-thinking school community.
This website will give you a first glimpse of the Thorpe Hall adventure, but the School is best experienced in person. You are most welcome to visit us for a tour of our School and a chat with our team.
We look forward to meeting your family.

Our U14 Girls, U14 Boys and U16 Girls rugby teams recently competed at the Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens, the world’s largest school rugby sevens tournament, alongside teams from across the globe including South Africa, Dubai and Belgium.
The event also welcomed former professional players and scouts, including England Men's Head Coach, Steve Borthwick, who is pictured with our teachers, Mr McGarr and Miss Cripps.
All of our students were outstanding and rose brilliantly to the level of competition, representing Thorpe Hall School with pride throughout the week.
🏉 Our U14 Girls reached the last 16 of the Plate, narrowly losing out in a nail biting competition that would have seen them progress much further. Their only game lost was to the eventual winners of the Cup.
🏉 Our U14 Boys delivered fantastic performances, narrowly missing out in their group stage matches with some excellent tries and tackles.
🏉 Our U16 Girls had an exceptional tournament, qualifying for day two and reaching the Plate semi-finals. They narrowly lost to the main Cup finalists by just one try, an incredible achievement that placed them among the top 16 school teams internationally.
A special congratulations to Dahlia in Year 11, who was also selected to try out for the England U18 Women’s Rugby squad, a phenomenal achievement! 👏
