As a fully inclusive, co-educational school, we are proud to celebrate our students’ excellent all-round achievements, and the enormous value we add to their learning, from Nursery to GCSE.
We challenge our pupils to outperform, whatever their ability. We seek out individual talents and actively encourage the best in everyone. At Thorpe Hall School, all students are motivated to enjoy a myriad of new and exciting opportunities and experiences. We pride ourselves on the individual attention we offer every child, whatever their age and whatever their needs.
Our mission is clear, our promise secure, and our commitment is genuine and unwavering. We are a school that listens, and every child’s voice is heard. Our open-door approach helps foster a refreshingly honest, active and forward-thinking school community.
This website will give you a first glimpse of the Thorpe Hall adventure, but the School is best experienced in person. You are most welcome to visit us for a tour of our School and a chat with our team.
We look forward to meeting your family.

Congratulations to Rupert (Year 9), who has been selected for both the regional Optimist TEAM EAST performance squad, and the Optimist National Squad (comprised of the top 18 sailors in the country), with views to compete at national and international sailing competitions.
Rupert’s selection for this activity recognises his potential to progress within British Youth Sailing, with the aim of progressing to UK Youth Squads. Rupert has been selected based on his performance and commitment to a programme of training, which Thorpe Hall School are proud to support by offering flexibility in his academic studies.
Well done Rupert! ... See MoreSee Less

Students from Years 2 to 6 have been visiting 'Mrs Waters' Festive Reading Cafe' this week, where they have had the opportunity to try delicious new books, sample different authors, and fill up on new vocabulary. They all had a great time with many leaving 5-star reviews and requesting a repeat reservation!
Reading for pleasure is so important as it not only introduces students to the joy of books but also establishes a strong foundation in language and comprehension skills. Students at Thorpe Hall also have regular library time, story time, visiting authors, weekly book bag rewards, and shared reads with other classes - all to establish the love of reading. We will also have a book fete visiting us later in the year!

An unforgettable experience for students in Years 8 to 10 as they headed to the Allianz Twickenham stadium to watch England take on Japan in an incredible Rugby clash! 🏉
The atmosphere was electric, and our students was inspired by the skill and sportsmanship on display.
