Huge congratulations to Stanley in Year 8 on winning the Road to Wimbledon Essex County Under-14 Boys’ Singles title in Redbridge! 🎾
Stanley battled through a strong field of players, defeating boys ranked higher than him from clubs across Essex, including his own club, Thorpe Bay Tennis Club.
His incredible victory means he has now qualified for the National Finals of Play Your Way to Wimbledon, which will take place at Wimbledon this August.
What makes this achievement even more special is the journey behind it. This win comes after hundreds of losses. It would have been easy to give up, but Stanley’s determination, resilience and commitment to improving never wavered. Proof that success isn’t about never losing, it’s about never giving up!
Congratulations Stanley! 🏆 ... See MoreSee Less

Our Year 8 students had an amazing time on their annual rewards trip yesterday, this year visiting Nuclear Races Wild Forest!🎉
The day was packed with fun, adventure and plenty of mud, giving everyone an unforgettable experience. One of the biggest highlights was watching their teachers bravely take on the infamous Deathslide! Head to our Instagram page to watch!👏
Well done to all of our Year 8 students for a fantastic day and for representing the school so well. ... See MoreSee Less

Monday night saw our senior students (supported by professional musicians and a staff choir) light up the stage with an unforgettable celebration of the iconic music from Top of the Pops!🎶
From the 1960s through to 2006, audiences were taken on a musical journey through the decades, complete with student DJs, fantastic period costumes and timeless hits from legendary artists including The Beatles, ABBA, Queen, David Bowie, Coldplay, Blur, Oasis and many more.
What a fantastic evening of music, talent and nostalgia. A huge thank you to everyone who performed, supported and helped make the event such a success! 👏✨ ... See MoreSee Less

Ms Anderson and her team have done it again. "Top of the Pops" was FANTASTIC!! The school should consider taking these music events to a professional theatre or on the road. I couldn't believe the queue for the show. It was the longest line of people I'd ever seen for any event at the school. If I may be so bold as to suggest that any of Ms Anderson's future shows run into two or three nights. There were clearly far too many people crammed into the theatre that night. Having said that, everyone loved it!. I appreciated how some of the musician teachers were giving up thier instruments to students to perform and with the added harmonies from the staff choir and musicians. It was phenominal. "Starman, Bohemian Rhapsody and You Can't Always Get What You Want" were very complex pieces. And yet masterfully performed.Best show ever!!!
It was a fantastic show. Well done to all participants both front of stage and back stage.
