We challenge our pupils to outperform, whatever their ability. We seek out individual talents and actively encourage the best in everyone. At Thorpe Hall School, all students are motivated to enjoy a myriad of new and exciting opportunities and experiences. We pride ourselves on the individual attention we offer every child, whatever their age and whatever their needs.
Our mission is clear, our promise secure, and our commitment is genuine and unwavering. We are a school that listens, and every child’s voice is heard. Our open-door approach helps foster a refreshingly honest, active and forward-thinking school community.
This website will give you a first glimpse of the Thorpe Hall adventure, but the School is best experienced in person. You are most welcome to visit us for a tour of our School and a chat with our team.

Headteacher Mr Duckitt had the difficult task of judging the overall winner of our Gingerbread House competition at Thorpe Hall School yesterday. There were four impressive finalists to choose from, and it took some serious deliberation with our Food Preparation and Nutrition Team. Congratulations to Vivienne and Isabella, our Year 11 duo entry for claiming the overall prize, and well done to everyone who entered. They look (almost) too good to eat!

The Thorpe Hall community was rockin' around the Cunningham Theatre on Friday at our annual Christmas Concert. The place was packed with parents and family members who came along for a mince pie and festive drink, before enjoying a joyous showcase of festive numbers. Students from Year 3 upwards, including our various choirs and our pop, rock and jazz ensembles, put on a fantastic show and really 'raised the roof'. A great way to kick start our festive celebrations here at Thorpe Hall School.

A wild festive adventure for Year 1!
Our Year 1 pupils took a trip to Call of the Wild Zoo Call of the Wild today, for a very special festive zoo trip. Upon arrival, students were welcomed by a Christmas elf, setting the tone for a day filled with joy and excitement.
Our young learners then embarked on a captivating journey alongside the charming character Digby the armadillo, who dreams of becoming a part of Santa's crew. Through this enchanting story, they explored the fascinating world of animal adaptations, uncovering how different creatures have evolved to thrive in their environments.
This session was designed to align with the current curriculum, allowing pupils to discover the wonders of the animal kingdom while deepening their understanding of adaptation and survival.
Not only did they get to meet a live armadillo, but they also had a visit from Santa himself, who took a quick break from all his Christmas preparations just to pop in and say hello!🎅
That's one happy group of pupils - and another great trip with Thorpe Hall School!
