Thorpe Hall School is non-selective. We focus on ensuring that each learner makes maximum progress, irrespective of their baseline when they join the school and irrespective of their academic profile. We also recognise that children all reach academic maturity at very different stages in their education journey. Our philosophy is to support learning through exceptional teaching and innovative, positive engagement that allows them all to thrive academically.
We report on attainment and progress in mathematics, English, science, reading and spelling termly in the Preparatory School and in the Senior School we report on all subject areas three times a year.
Outcomes on international and UK standardised national Curriculum assessments (PTE, PTM, PTS) undertaken in June 2024 for every child in Reception to Year 6:
