At Thorpe Hall School, we believe school trips are an essential part of learning and school life.
That’s why every child in our Prep and Senior school is allocated a 'trips fund', which is used to cover the cost of a number of curriculum linked trips every year. This ensures every pupil has more opportunities to bring classroom learning to life through real world experiences.
Examples this year include trips to the Science Museum in London, Barleylands Farm Park, Science Live!, The Globe to watch Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, Wat Tyler Country Park and many more!
These experiences help create lasting memories while enriching learning beyond the classroom. 👏
Huge congratulations to Halle in Year 8 on an incredible sporting achievement! ⚽🏆
Earlier this month, Halle played in the JPL Warrior Cup Final in an exciting match against Chelsea F.C.. Representing West Ham United F.C., her team secured a thrilling 3–2 victory, with Halle scoring two of the three goals!
An outstanding performance that helped her team be crowned JPL U13 Cup Champions!🏅

Following on from their topic about life cycles, our Nursery children created bird feeders for the birds that visit our forest! 🐦
Using bread, jam and bird seed, they carefully made their feeders before placing them around the forest for our feathered friends to enjoy.
A wonderful way to bring classroom learning to life while caring for the nature around us.
