As a fully inclusive, co-educational school, we are proud to celebrate our students’ excellent all-round achievements, and the enormous value we add to their learning, from Nursery to GCSE.
We challenge our pupils to outperform, whatever their ability. We seek out individual talents and actively encourage the best in everyone. At Thorpe Hall School, all students are motivated to enjoy a myriad of new and exciting opportunities and experiences. We pride ourselves on the individual attention we offer every child, whatever their age and whatever their needs.
Our mission is clear, our promise secure, and our commitment is genuine and unwavering. We are a school that listens, and every child’s voice is heard. Our open-door approach helps foster a refreshingly honest, active and forward-thinking school community.
This website will give you a first glimpse of the Thorpe Hall adventure, but the School is best experienced in person. You are most welcome to visit us for a tour of our School and a chat with our team.
We look forward to meeting your family.

After seeing Otis in Year 10 featured online litter picking at his local beach, the Garon Park Golf Complex LTD got in touch to recognise his efforts and commitment to making Southend a cleaner, better place for everyone.
As a gesture of support and recognition, the Trust has made a generous £500 donation to Friends of the Earth UK, Otis’ chosen charity.
In addition to the donation, Otis also received an annual pass to Adventure Golf at Garons.
A fantastic achievement and well deserved recognition for Otis’ dedication to helping his local community and environment. A huge thank you to the Norman Garon Trust for the kind and generous donation. 🌍👏 ... See MoreSee Less

A lively start to World Cup Day today as we celebrate the excitement of the start of the World Cup!
Ezra, Arthur and Harry from Year 1 welcomed pupils through the gates this morning by performing the National Anthem and When The Saints. Students also enjoyed some fun activities in the playground before the school day began.
As part of our fundraising efforts for our three school charities - Great Ormond Street Hospital, Little Heroes and Gold Geese - the day promises to be full of fun including penalty shoot-outs against the teachers!
We look forward to sharing more highlights from a fantastic day. ⚽🏆 ... See MoreSee Less

Our Year 3 pupils had an amazing time on their residential trip to Skreens Park, Chelmsford, last week! 🌟
The adventure provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils to build confidence, develop their independence and create lasting memories with their friends.
From scaling climbing walls and testing their aim in archery to racing pedal cars and soaring along the zip line, there was plenty of excitement and fun throughout the trip!
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and teamwork shown by all of our Year 3 pupils. What a memorable experience! ... See MoreSee Less
