Exclusive talk from Alex Hibbert – record breaking Polar Explorer: Tues 22nd Nov, 6pm-7pm

We are delighted to promote this exciting, free, exclusive talk taking place in the Cunningham Theatre at Thorpe Hall School on Tuesday 22nd November.

The high profile, internationally renowned public speaker Alex Hibbert will visit the school on Tuesday 22nd November. The talk will start promptly at 6pm.

Alex Hibbert is the world record-holding polar traveller who has skied further on an unsupported Arctic journey than anyone in history.

He is a writer and public speaker who goes out on different expeditions each year. He has twice carried out unsupported ski crossings of the Greenland icecap with one of them being a world record. He is currently refitting a lifeboat in order to sail in Antarctic waters. He has also spent 6 months living with the Polar Eskimos, learning their culture.

Alex speaks on themes such as resilience, perseverance and facing, dealing with and then overcoming failure to achieve success. You can find out more about Alex on his website.
