We are delighted to announce that for September 2026, we have a record number of students registered to join us into Year 7.
Numbers across the school are continuing to grow, as the school succeeds in raising standards, attainment and results across the board.
Various initiatives, such as the Grammar Plus stream in the Senior School, the advanced 11+ support and fast-track academic stream in Years 4 – 6, and the Young Talent Pathways provision from Reception to Year 2, have transformed the provision available and attracted more and more families to move to Thorpe Hall School. In just four years, numbers on roll have grown from 396 to over 600 today.
We remain dedicated to providing a bespoke and personalised education for every child, with small class sizes, unrivalled opportunities and amazing staff to pupil ratios.
To preserve this, Thorpe Hall School has now reached its full capacity of students for Year 7 September 2026 entry, and will be operating a waiting list for this intake. This hasn’t happened at Thorpe Hall School for many years.
We expect this trend to continue – and already have high demand for places in 2027 and 2028 from external candidates into our Senior School.
