Over 150 Thorpe Hall students competed in this year’s Southend Musical Festival. Entrants from our Nursery all the way to Year 11 took part in a broad range of speech, drama and music categories.
Thorpe Hall is proud to have supported this important annual event for over a decade. As well as having record numbers of students taking part, the School also sponsored some of the Festival classes this year, welcoming competitors into our professionally-equipped theatre as hosts of the drama section.
We are delighted to announce that over 30 medals and trophies were awarded to Thorpe Hall students. The life skills they will have developed along the way through experiences like these are invaluable – resilience, confidence, self-belief, presentation to name just a few – and every child was a fantastic representative of the School.
