We’re so proud to celebrate one of our talented Year 3 pupils, Mia, who has achieved an incredible milestone by winning Second Place in the ISA Poetry Competition, a prestigious national event that recognises young literary talent across the country.
Mia’s creativity, imagination, and love for words truly shone through in her beautifully crafted poem, which also received special recognition from the judges, who highly commended her work for its originality and emotional depth.
This is a fantastic accomplishment for such a young writer, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with her success. Mia’s achievement is a testament to her hard work and passion for storytelling, and she serves as a wonderful inspiration to her peers.
Congratulations, Mia! We can’t wait to see where your words take you next.
Mia’s Poem:
My Life As A Sibling…
I’m Mia, sibling in-between.
They treat me like a queen!
One girl, two boys…
It’s a house always full of noise!
Not the youngest, not the oldest.
But I’m probably the boldest!
I’m Mia in the middle.
Family life is such a riddle!
