Our exceptional sports team is made up of expert athletes including Mr McGarr, Head of Sport at THS, an ex-Ireland Rugby League International player playing with big names such as Johnny May and Alex Cuthbert. Mrs Durban, Head of Prep Sport at THS, a former England Hockey player and currently a first team player at Old Southendians Hockey Club. Mr Medland has 10 years’ experience as a coach at Southend United Football Club working with the best young footballers in the area. Mr Roberts represented Australia in the Rugby 7s and has 20 years’ experience playing Rugby. Miss Smith has been playing Netball since Primary School and is now a current Division One League Netball star. Mr Clark is a British Badminton College Championship finalist and Miss Cripps played for Essex Ladies Rugby as the starting Essex scrum-half and a former Vice-Captain of the Westcliff Lionesses.
