Welcome to Thorpe Hall’s Careers Pages

“At Thorpe Hall School, we recognise that the fast-changing world of work has put an even greater demand on our young people in making a successful transition from education to employment. We aim to facilitate a smooth transition and provide all students with excellent opportunities to explore all options and to make the very best choices for their future.

One of the first steps we have taken is to appoint a Careers Lead to support all pupils in Years 7-11. Michaela Girling has taken on this important role, and she will be supported by the Governors and by me as Headteacher, as well as by all our staff. This role will help our school create a high-quality careers programme that we can be proud of and one which will open doors for our pupils whether they are transitioning into sixth form or via vocational paths.

Building on our strong foundation, we are working towards becoming a school with an outstanding careers provision across all year groups”

Andrew Hampton, Headteacher.
