English Teacher – Full-time
Application deadline: 17th May 2019
Interview Date: 23rd May 2019
Start date: September 2019
Salary range: Up to UPS2

We seek to appoint a Teacher of English for Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full time position and we require someone with a strong subject knowledge. This is an exciting opportunity for either a newly qualified or more experienced teacher to work within an ambitious and supportive department in a high achieving school.
The English Department at Thorpe Hall School is very successful, with excellent resources and results that far outstrip the school’s average at GCSE. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic teacher to carry this tradition forward. The school has never been afraid to innovate and candidates might chose to elaborate on innovations they themselves have introduced into the classroom.
This job would suit both experienced teachers or NQTs (full induction will be offered through the Independent Schools’ Teacher Induction Panel, which is recognised by the DfE for the induction of NQTs in independent schools).
