Andrew Hampton Shares Lockdown Views on BBC Radio Essex Breakfast Show as UK Heads into Lockdown
BBC Radio Essex invited Thorpe Hall School’s Headteacher, Andrew Hampton to share his views on the issues facing students and schools as the UK heads into another national lockdown this week.
In the Breakfast Show this morning, BBC presenter Sonia Watson asked Mr Hampton for his reaction to the government’s announcement that A-Level and GCSE students in the UK are facing a second summer of predicted grades. With schools closed until at least February half term, the conversation covered some of the wider challenges of connectivity for remote learners and the logistics of mass testing in schools due to take place prior to school closures in all secondary schools.
